This Privacy Policy is issued by SOLO World Partners LLC, SOLO Louisville LLC, and SOLO WORLD PARTNERS DE MEXICO, S. DE R. L. DE C.V. (together, "SOLO," "we," "our," or "us"). We provide global logistics, warehousing, quality and repack, customs and trade, INCO term conversion, global sourcing, and related supply-chain services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you:

  • visit our website at www.solowp.com (the "Site");

  • fill out a form on the Site, such as a quote request, contact, file upload, or job application form;

  • communicate with us by email, phone, or in person; or

  • deal with us as a customer, supplier, carrier, or other business partner, or as someone who works for one of them.

This policy does not cover:

  • information we handle on behalf of our customers as their service provider (for example, shipment, consignee, or inventory data in our warehouse management, ERP, or customer portal systems). That information is governed by our agreements with those customers; or

  • information about our own employees, which is covered by our internal policies.

Our Terms of Use and Disclaimer are separate documents and appear on this page.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us

  • Contact and identity details: first and last name, email address, phone number, and mailing or business address.

  • Business details: company name, job title, whether you are a new or existing customer, the location or service you are interested in, and similar professional information.

  • Inquiry and project details: messages you send us, quote or RFQ details, and files you upload (for example, drawings, specifications, and shipping or trade documents). Please do not upload personal information that your request does not need.

  • Job applicant information: when you apply for a job through a form on the Site, your CV or résumé, work history, education, and any other information you choose to provide.

  • Business billing information: billing contacts, invoicing details, and payment records related to the services we provide to your company. We do not collect payment card information through the Site.

  • Communications: records of emails, calls, and other communications with us.

b. Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and approximate location based on IP address;

  • pages viewed, links clicked, the referring website, and the date and time of your visit; and

  • information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

c. Information from other sources

We may receive business contact information from customers, suppliers, carriers, customs authorities, and other partners as part of providing our services. We may also collect it from publicly available professional sources, such as LinkedIn.

Sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, health information, or financial account numbers) through the Site. Please do not send sensitive personal information through our web forms.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and communicate with you about our services;

  • provide, manage, and bill for logistics, warehousing, quality, customs and trade, and related services;

  • protect the security of the Site, our systems, and our facilities, and prevent fraud or misuse;

  • comply with legal, regulatory, customs, trade-compliance, tax, and recordkeeping requirements; and

  • enforce our agreements and protect our legal rights.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as website hosting and form providers (for example, Wix.com), analytics providers (for example, Google Analytics), IT, cloud, and email providers, and professional advisors (such as accountants, auditors, and lawyers). They may use the information only to provide services to us.

  • Logistics and trade partners when needed to provide services that you or your company requested, such as carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and suppliers.

  • Affiliates under common ownership or control, such as TRIO Customs Brokers, for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Government and regulatory authorities, including customs and border agencies, when required by law or needed to provide customs and trade services.

  • Legal and safety recipients, to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SOLO, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers, to a buyer or other successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

  • Others, with your consent or at your direction.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, customs, and contract requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We generally keep website inquiries, quote requests, customer and supplier business records, customs and import records, and job applications for at least five (5) years. We keep them longer when applicable law, a contract, or a legal claim requires it. Website analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics provider.

When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to:

Your choices. When you first visit the Site, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by using the "Cookie Settings" link on the Site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

Global Privacy Control. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Even so, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a valid request to opt out of the sale of personal information and of sharing for targeted advertising for that browser.

Do Not Track. Because there is no common industry standard for Do Not Track signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do honor GPC as described above.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site, account access controls, and limiting access to personal information to staff who need it for their work. No website, data transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Your Choices

  • Marketing emails: Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or contact us using the details in Section 14. We may still send you messages about our services or your account.

  • Updating your information: Contact us to correct or update the information you have given us.

  • Cookies: See Section 6.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information, subject to limits and exceptions in applicable law:

  • Know/access: to confirm whether we process your personal information and to get a copy of it;

  • Correct: to correct inaccurate information;

  • Delete: to ask us to delete your personal information;

  • Portability: to receive your information in a portable format;

  • Opt out: of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (as noted above, we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising);

  • Limit: the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and

  • Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

U.S. state residents. Several U.S. states have comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and others. Where one of these laws applies to us and to your information, we will honor the rights it gives you.

How to make a request. Email privacy@solowp.net or call +1.734.282.7200. We will need to verify your identity before we respond, and we may ask you for information to do so. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We may ask for proof that the agent is authorized. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing privacy@solowp.net with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.

10. International Visitors and Data Transfers

SOLO is based in the United States and has operations and partners in other countries, including Mexico. Your personal information may be processed in the United States, Mexico, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take the steps that applicable law requires to protect it.

11. Children's Privacy
