Apply economic theory and methods to solve complex problems in all areas of the company; apply causal inference reduced-form program evaluation methods to estimate the effects of business strategies, tactics, and actions on the company’s economic performance; evaluate the causal effects of exogenous policy changes on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); design, coordinate, implement, and deploy the necessary mechanisms to ensure accuracy of company-wide data related to economic performance; design, construct, and maintain the KPI’s dashboards, including financial and non-financial indicators; design and execute experiments aimed to evaluate the impact of innovation efforts; assess the rate of return of different pricing schemes by estimating cost-benefits analyses of different pricing methods in areas such as warehousing, quality control, material planning, logistics, and financing; analyze the price-elasticity of demand for products and services to continually understand customer needs and willingness to purchase our products and services; acquire and analyze internal and external economic data to provide recommendations and guidance to upper management in all aspects, including project implementation, capital acquisitions, cost reductions, and systems improvement; perform Business Intelligence (BI) activities to ensure achievement of revenue maximization, cost minimization, cash availability, highest possible productivity, highest levels of quality, and highest levels of customer service; apply Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to detect patterns and estimate correlations of data records related to operations, accounting, sales, pricing, material planning, and economic performance indicators such as gross revenue, gross profit, net profit, gross margin, and net margin; supervise the construction, analysis and report financial statements to stakeholders; supervise the execution of institutional strategies and tactics that ensure the availability of cash to fund operations and growth; forecast availability of cash by using state of the art econometric and data science methods, such as time-series analysis and machine learning algorithms; monitor, track, record, and measure all accounting and finance related activities for SOLO USA, SOLO Mexico, and SOLO China; and create financial reports and dashboards critical for monitoring and measuring key performance indicators of SOLO USA, SOLO Mexico, and SOLO China. The above duties require utilization of statistical analysis software such as R, Python, Stata. Travel 2x/yr to facilities in Kentucky and Mexico (up to 7 days per trip).
